Sean Pittman is the President/CEO and founder of The Pittman Group. He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in marketing and operations. Prior to starting The Pittman Group Sean had the opportunity to help PlattForm grow from a $40 million business to a $150 million business in his positions as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and President of Higher Education.
Sean founded the company in 2010 with a focus on creating an integrated marketing agency where clients describe us as trustworthy experts who believe in transparency. His drive to build organizations and see people grow and establish life-long relationships is what motivates him each day.
All these experiences have been instrumental in setting the tone for a company that values honesty and transparency. Sean is a high energy, passionate and driven entrepreneur with one key focus: Helping clients meet their desired outcomes and get the results they need to sustain and grow their business.

With over 16 years of marketing and advertising experience, Peter Amerio brings a wealth of knowledge to helping our clients. His background in design, development and strategic media planning has helped hundreds of schools to achieve their enrollment goals through traditional and digital marketing channels. As a former Director and Vice President, he has lead teams in the innovation of the discipline of digital marketing.
Senior Vice President & Managing Partner
For the majority of his nearly 30-year career in education, Tom Kartelias has worked as a hands-on, senior-level marketing and admissions leader. Most recently, Tom spent 16 years leading the marketing and admissions efforts of a private equity rollup of for-profit colleges starting with a platform company of nine campuses in the early 2000s. Through school group acquisitions, greenfield branch startups, hundreds of new program rollouts, and the startup of an online operation, that company quickly grew to campuses in over 50 markets nationally with an online operation servicing over 20,000 students.
Vice President of Media Services
As the Vice President of Media Services, Braylen has been instrumental in setting the tone with a can-do attitude and dedicated work ethic. He has been involved from the start of the company, and his experience is invaluable as the company grows. Braylen grew up around the marketing business, which has allowed him to bring a mature perspective to the organization. Braylen provides behind-the-scenes insight to our client-facing team when it comes to innovative media opportunities and has a strong knack for analyzing data and providing facts that make a difference in day-to-day media management.
Director of Content Marketing
Angela Crawford brings nearly a decade of experience in the marketing and communication industry with her to The Pittman Group. She was the instructor of record for the University of Kansas’ required public speaking course before joining the team at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics where she was the Manager of Marketing and Communications. Angela’s specific marketing expertise is in the area of content development and social media strategy, though she also enjoys working in public and media relations and event marketing. With her leadership, the creative team produces exceptional content with a focus on driving results for clients.
Senior Digital Media Strategist
Digital media has been the focus of Randall Benson’s career for more than a decade now. He has worked with various enterprises to develop marketing materials for successful campaigns. His marketing experience includes work with both large and small businesses in a variety of industries. Prior to joining the team at The Pittman Group, Randall lead teams of creatives in the strategic development of content. He’s passionate about helping businesses meet their digital goals, and he loves dubstep.
